PA Inspection Sticker Reminder

The state of Pennsylvania has a mandatory state vehicle inspection  program. You must have your vehicle inspected yearly for safety. 
The safety inspection is to keep you and the other drivers on the road safe.
Who Must Get Inspected  
Any trailer with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) over 3000 Lbs.
Anyone operating a motor vehicle on public roads, and who is a resident of the state of PA, must get a yearly inspection.

 What are the inspection criteria for recreational and  utility trailers?
Safety inspections for recreational, semi- and utility trailers require that the following items be checked: suspension components, braking systems, tires and wheels, lighting and electrical systems, glazing, the body, and chassis. 
For  a complete list of the rejection criteria for recreational, semi- and utility trailers, please reference Section 175.130 of Subchapter G of the Vehicle Equipment and Inspection Regulations.

Inspection Pass or Fail- $72.08
Tri-Axle Pass or Fail- $103.88
Specialty, Tandem Dual Axles Pass or Fail- $140.98
Re-inspection (trailer checked out and taken to do repairs and brought back)
Same as original inspection cost.
